A pair of standard-size blocks (23 × 15 × 7.6 cm) in two complementary densities. The cork block, pressed from Portuguese Quercus suber, gives slightly under bodyweight — ideal for restoratives, hip-openers, and any pose where the body wants to settle into the support.
The walnut block, milled from Japanese kurumi sourced in Nara prefecture, is solid and unyielding. Use it for standing postures where the hand needs a firm, stable edge: triangle, half-moon, the deeper variations of pyramid.
Both blocks have chamfered corners — no sharp edges against the skin. The walnut is finished with a single pass of natural beeswax; the cork is left raw and unsealed.
