Noro Linen Strap

Woven in Fukushima · Undyed linen & vegetable-tanned leather
54

A 2.4-metre strap of heavy-weight undyed linen, softened through three wash cycles before it reaches you. The weave is dense enough to hold under the load of a bound posture but breaks in further with every use.

The buckles are vegetable-tanned leather from a small tannery in Tochigi, finished with solid brass D-rings that develop a soft patina. No nylon, no plastic ladder-locks — only friction and good craftsmanship.

The trailing end is left intentionally raw, lightly frayed, so the linen continues to soften where it brushes against the skin. No two straps wear identically.
